Nicole Berg is a Partner at Keller Lenkner LLC. She brings unique insights to the firm's practice, with broad legal experience and an analytical approach to the practice of law. In addition to her work on other matters, Nicole is a member of the court-appointed plaintiffs' leadership group in the 3M Combat Arms Earplug multi-district litigation (MDL).
Before joining Keller Lenkner, Nicole worked in litigation finance, first as an analyst at Gerchen Keller Capital and then, after its acquisition, as Vice President at Burford Capital. Nicole analyzed legal and regulatory issues to make investment decisions, gaining significant insight into a wide variety of practice areas and types of legal claims.
Before joining Gerchen Keller, Nicole was an associate at Jenner & Block LLP, where she represented clients in internal and regulatory investigations and in complex state and federal litigation at the trial and appellate levels, Prior to attending law school, Nicole was a senior options trader at Peak6 Investments.
Nicole served as a law clerk to Judge Jay Bybee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She earned her law degree from the University of Illinois, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Illinois Law Review and graduated summa cum laude. Nicole earned her master's degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago and her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
