Emmie J. Paulos is a shareholder with Levin Papantonio, focusing her practice on mass tort litigation, products liability litigation, and environmental law. As a member of Levin Papantonio’s mass tort department, she has had experience with various mass tort litigations.
Since 2012, Ms. Paulos has been actively involved in the multidistrict litigation In re: BP Deepwater Horizon Multidistrict Litigation (MDL 2179), where she has had the opportunity to assist clients with the court-supervised settlement program and litigation. Since 2014, Ms. Paulos has been actively managing the multidistrict litigation In re: Xarelto (Rivaroxaban) Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2592). She has been personally involved in assisting the Plaintiffs Steering Committee with the discovery process, the bellwether selection process, and was a member of the trial team in three bellwether trials.
Prior to joining Levin Papantonio, Ms. Paulos practiced in California with a civil litigation firm, with an emphasis on litigation, business law, employment law, and transactional matters.
Ms. Paulos has been selected as a distinguished member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40, a professional organization composed of top trial lawyers younger than the age of 40.
She is currently licensed to practice law in California, Florida, and Washington, D.C.
