DESCRIPTION
- Between 1953-1987 people living or working at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina were exposed to contaminated water that has caused death, illness, and life-altering health conditions. What's worse, senior military leaders knew of the risks and concealed knowledge of the problem.
- For the past several decades, the veterans and families that resided or worked at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina have been denied justice. Ed Bell has spent thousands of hours and millions of dollars on efforts to pass a bill, the Camp Lejeune Justice Act, a bill that allows our veterans and their families to recover from injuries as a result of the water contamination.
- The Camp Lejeune Justice Act has passed in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. We anticipate President Biden will sign the bill this week.
- During this webinar, Ed Bell and our panel will walk you through the history of this case and the future outlook for the litigation.
