Benee Wallace has served as senior paralegal to Motley Rice co-founder Joe Rice for more than 30 years. Benee is considered a crucial component behind the scenes of many historic trials and countless complex and impactful negotiations including, the Master Tobacco Settlement Agreement, Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Litigation, Travelers Asbestos Settlements, Volkswagen “œClean Diesel” Settlements, and most recently the National Prescription Opiate Multidistrict Litigation.
Benee is an essential team member to the firm and on every case she is involved with. She is highly regarded for her strong grasp of legal complexities, ability to juggle countless priorities with ease, quick wit and, seemingly inexhaustible drive and passion for justice, with an uncanny ability to deal with people. Throughout her career she has served as a leader and role model by taking the time to mentor fellow paralegals, associates and even member attorneys. In addition to her career, Benee is involved in several community organizations including, Meals on Wheels and with the Charleston Animal Society.
