Daniel Hinkle is the Senior State Affairs Counsel for the American Association for Justice. He has advised state organizations across the country on the impact of automate driving legislation. He has given over a dozen legal education presentations across the country while authoring numerous articles on the state of the art in automated driving. He has been at the forefront of identifying safety and liability concerns associated with automated driving. In every instance, he has emphasized the importance of public accountability to focus the safe development of automated vehicles. He received his BA in Philosophy from the University or the South: Sewanee and JD from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where he was the Editor in Chief of the Jurisprudence Review.
