Mark T. Sadaka is the principal of Sadaka Associates, LLC, in Englewood, New Jersey with offices in New York and Maryland. He is an accomplished trial lawyer with a specialized medical background that has made him leader and invaluable resource in the realm of medically complicated cases. Mr. Sadaka represents people hurt by defective drugs, medical devices, vaccines, exposure to hazardous chemicals, and other dangerous products. He also represents victims of corporate fraud.

Mr. Sadaka is well known for his advocacy of socially important litigation. He is a tireless advocate of consumer rights and upholds the view that large corporations have a social responsibility of safety and integrity when conducting business. He is not afraid to take on corporations with nearly unlimited resources who violate their social responsibilities to the public. Mr. Sadaka’s commitment to social justice has made him a leader in the court room.

Mark Sadaka has successfully brought a number of first-of-its-kind defective drug related lawsuits, including brain damage caused by Zostavax and aggressive prostate cancer caused by Avodart. Through nine years of persistence and innovation, Mr. Sadaka was the first ever to successfully prove that the Gardasil vaccine killed a 21-year old woman in Tarsell v. DHHS, 10-cv-251 (US Court of Federal Claims). He is selected as co-lead counsel and co-science chair for a nationwide product liability lawsuit alleging that the Zostavax, a vaccine that contains live virus, causes serious injuries to people ages 50 years and older. He has represented thousands of people harmed by products such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and vaccines.

Under his leadership, Sadaka Associates has earned millions in settlements for clients in individual and class action cases involving wrongful death, defective products, failure to warn about the side effects of specific products and drugs, and consumer fraud. Mr. Sadaka’s expertise in both science and law makes Mr. Sadaka a highly valued, trusted counsel to his clients. Born in Brooklyn, New York Mark Sadaka knew from a young age that he wanted to help others. While attending Penn State University he worked with end-stage AIDs patients in an infectious disease department of a large hospital. During this experience, Mr. Sadaka witnessed mistreatment and misunderstanding of these vulnerable people – furthering his desire to help those who cannot help themselves.

After college, Mr. Sadaka earned a Master of Science in Public Health degree from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with specialization in toxicology and risk assessment. While at Tulane he served as a science advisor for Tulane’s Environmental Law Clinic. This experience coupled with his inherent need to help the sick was the determining factor in Mr. Sadaka’s decision to pursue the practice of law.

Mark Sadaka went on to earn his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis where he served as an editor of the Journal of Law and Policy. During law school, Mark Sadaka was designated a Public Service Scholar with Highest Distinction for his commitment to public service.

Mr. Sadaka’s unique educational background makes him adapt at understanding the complex medical nuances of defective product lawsuits. This has become the core of his practice. Mr. Sadaka has published a number of articles related to complex litigation, including e-discovery and the use of epidemiology in litigation. Other attorneys selected Mr. Sadaka to a number of leadership positions in nationwide product defect lawsuits. He has served on multiple plaintiffs’ committees and subcommittees for national defective product lawsuits such as Zostavax, Kugel Mesh Hernia Patch Repair, ReNu, Ortho Evra, Zyprexa, Vioxx, and Fosamax. Mr. Sadaka has lectured to other attorneys on complex product lawsuits around the country, including Mass Torts Made Perfect® and Harris Martin®. He has been interviewed by national newspapers for his expertise on medical devices and drug safety. Mr. Sadaka has received numerous academic and professional accolades.

The New York Metro Super Lawyers selected him to their “Super Lawyer” list in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
