Speaker Bio

Mrs. Larmond-Harvey is a registered nurse and an attorney licensed by the Florida Bar. Compassion for her patients motivated her to enter law school. She is passionate about her mission to advocate for the welfare of people who have suffered injury from negligence by the corporate medical device and pharmaceutical drug industry.

She has years of experience as a medical surgical nurse as well as business experience as a case manager and supervisor in the insurance and nursing home industry. Her management experience in these fields involved compliance with federal regulatory standards and application of evidence based standards and health care research.

While attending law school, Mrs. Larmond-Harvey interned with the 13th Judicial Circuit Probate Division and the United States Department of Health, Office of the General Counsel, Nursing Home Division.

Mrs. Larmond-Harvey served as the Treasurer for the Elder Law Society at Stetson University College of Law while attending law school. As part of the organization she was involved in many community programs that focused on advocacy for seniors.

Mrs. Larmond-Harvey has nine years of medical surgical nurse experience and for six of those years, performed travel nursing in Connecticut, Florida, Kansas and Georgia.
