Mr. Eldredge has been practicing law continuously with the firm since his admission to the Colorado Bar in 1983. Mr. Eldredge’s practice focuses on complex medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death and large product liability cases, as well as mass tort litigation.
Mr. Eldredge was recognized as Colorado Law Week’s Barristers’ Best Medical Malpractice Lawyer for 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and received the People’s Choice Award as Colorado’s Best Medical Malpractice Attorney in 2009. Mr. Eldredge is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
Mr. Eldredge has an active litigation practice and regularly appears in both State and Federal Courts. He has handled cases throughout the country. Mr. Eldredge specializes in medical malpractice cases, and this area of specialty includes cases involving claims for damages arising from inadequate or substandard hospital and clinic protocols, as well as damages resulting from substandard care rendered by medical professionals. Mr. Eldredge is engaged in medical malpractice cases focusing on informed consent and other physician-patient communication issues, as well as breaches in preventative care. He has successfully handled birth trauma, failure to diagnose heart attacks and failure to diagnose cancer cases, among many others.
Mr. Eldredge is a frequent lecturer throughout the country on a variety of topics, and regularly presents seminars to the Colorado and national legal community. Additionally, Mr. Eldredge maintains an active role with the educational community in the Denver metropolitan area. Mr. Eldredge has made presentations to the AAJ, and the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations. Mr. Eldredge is also an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Scott Eldredge has been selected by members of the national legal community as one of the Best Lawyers in America for Medical Malpractice Law. Best Lawyers publishes a book each year listing those individuals recognized as professionals who continue their education in an effort to stay current in their chosen profession and continue to distinguish themselves among their peers. Mr. Eldredge was awarded the honor of being named a Colorado Super Lawyer for the years 2006-2014. Super Lawyers represent an elite top 5% of the practicing attorneys in Colorado who are selected by peer review. Mr. Eldredge has also met the standard of excellence for selection as one of The National Trial Lawyer’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Eldredge has also been recognized as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. The Litigation Counsel of America is a trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers and is determined by invitation only. Membership includes placement of a maximum of 3,500 Fellows, who are selected and invited into Fellowship after being evaluated on effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work, along with ethical reputation.
