Maximilian Weiss, attorney at TILP LITIGATION, specializes in securities litigation and collective redress mechanisms as well as in cross-border disputes concerning capital markets law and financial antitrust cases. He has gained extensive experience in the field of securities litigation and how to bring mass claims for thousands of investors collectively, within Germany and across borders. As a plaintiff’s attorney, Max is currently involved in some of the biggest European collective shareholder actions such as in “Wirecard”, “Steinhoff”, “Daimler” and the “Volkswagen Dieselgate” actions. Max regularly speaks on the topics of collective redress mechanisms and securities litigation and has also authored articles on the aforementioned matters.
Max has studied law in Tübingen, Madrid and Chicago. He completed his judicial clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart and is admitted to the German bar. In addition, Max holds a LL.M. degree from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law. He is a member of Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), the International Bar Association (IBA) and of the association of German-speaking attorneys specializing in antitrust law (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht e.V.).
A native German speaker, Max is also fluent in English and Spanish.
