Speaker Bio

Chad E. Ihrig, is an attorney in the Austin, Texas office of Nix, Patterson & Roach. Mr. Ihrig has extensive experience litigating mass torts, nationwide class actions, insurance property damage claims, and catastrophic personal injury cases. He has served as lead and second chair trial counsel in numerous personal injury cases, was appointed as class counsel in more than 20 nationwide class actions, and most recently spoke at the 2015 AAJ Annual Meeting in Montreal on the subject of Mass Torts.

Mr. Ihrig currently concentrates his practice on complex mass tort cases, with a specific emphasis on medical devices. He is currently serving on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in GranuFlo consolidated state litigation in Massachusetts and is a member of the GranuFlo and Zofran litigation groups. Prior to joining his current firm, Mr. Ihrig was a partner in the Oklahoma City law firm of Nelson Roselius. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and his law degree form the University of Oklahoma School of Law.
