Emmie J. Paulos is a shareholder with Levin Papantonio Rafferty, focusing her practice on mass tort litigation, products liability litigation, and environmental law. As a member of Levin Papantonio Rafferty's mass tort department, she has had experience with various mass tort litigations.
Since 2012, Ms. Paulos has been actively involved in the multidistrict litigation In re: BP Deepwater Horizon Multidistrict Litigation (MDL 2179), where she has had the opportunity to assist clients with the court-supervised settlement program and litigation. Since 2014, Ms. Paulos has been actively managing the multidistrict litigation In re: Xarelto (Rivaroxaban) Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2592). She has been personally involved in assisting the Plaintiffs Steering Committee with the discovery process, the bellwether selection process, and was a member of the trial team in three bellwether trials.
Prior to joining Levin Papantonio Rafferty, Ms. Paulos practiced in California with a civil litigation firm, with an emphasis on litigation, business law, employment law, and transactional matters.
Ms. Paulos has been selected as a distinguished member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40, a professional organization composed of top trial lawyers younger than the age of 40.
She is currently licensed to practice law in California, Florida, and Washington, D.C.
