Jennifer Garland is the founder and President of Prestige Inc., the leading legal services company for notaries, apostille, title & escrow, mass torts and corporate legal support. Prestige pioneered the development and use of Remote Online Notarization in jurisdictions where it is supported.
Jennifer founded Prestige in 2015 after nearly 30 years serving as a paralegal & notary in AmLAw 100 law firms and the Washington State Attorney General’s office. Her work with the AG’s Complex Litigation unit focused on protecting consumers’ rights and introduced her to mass tort and Supreme Court cases – including the $25 Billion multi-State agreement with the 5 largest mortgage servicers.
Prior to Prestige, Jennifer managed a mortgage company where she saw a growing need for efficient, effective, streamlined processes and personnel – hand-vetted notaries to deliver exceptional client service for a reasonable price. She established Prestige to meet that need.
Today with more than 257,000 field agents nationwide, more than $500 million in mass tort victim settlements in under 3 years, and serving banks, corporations and firms such as White & Case, Vedder Price, Morgan & Morgan (not to mention 3,500 title & escrow companies), Prestige enjoys its position as a leading legal services provider.
Outside of running Prestige, Jennifer enjoys genealogy, travel and collecting elephants which she loves because elephants are always led by their wisest female.
