Speaker Bio

Justin Lusko is a Shareholder with Levin Papantonio Rafferty. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2004 obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance. Mr. Lusko then received his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007. In addition to graduating with dean's list recognition, Mr. Lusko was recognized with distinction for his pro bono work while in law school.

Upon graduation, Mr. Lusko practiced as an Assistant State Attorney with the Office of State Attorney, 1st Judicial Circuit, for four years, where he tried over fifty-five jury trials to verdict. Following this, Mr. Lusko worked with a civil litigation firm handling multi-million dollar cases throughout the state of Florida involving bad faith matters.

Mr. Lusko's practice is focused on medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. In 2022, Mr. Lusko received a $7.5 million dollar verdict following a two-week medical malpractice in Escambia County where healthcare providers failed to appropriately diagnose and treat a patient resulting in his client suffering an above-the-knee leg amputation. In 2018, Mr. Lusko secured a $2.3 million dollar verdict following a trial on behalf of his clients who were injured in an automobile collision due to the negligence of another driver.

Mr. Lusko is a member of the Million Dollar Advocate and Multi-Million Dollar Advocate Forum, one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Fewer than 1% of U.S lawyers are members.

Mr. Lusko is currently licensed to practice law before all Florida state courts as well as before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
