Speaker Bio

Kate Jaycox is a Principal at Robins Kaplan, LLP in Minneapolis, representing individuals and families who have been injured by defective drugs and medical devices for the past 13 years. In addition to individual cases, she has worked on many consolidated drug and device cases, including Zofran, Stryker, DePuy ASR, DePuy Pinnacle, Chantix, Fosamax, Ortho Evra, Vioxx, and Mirapex. She currently serves on the PSC for Zofran and is Co-Chair of AAJ’s Stockert 3T Litigation Group. She also devotes significant time to pro bono work in child protection and immigration cases including minors.

Kate serves on AAJ’s Board of Governors as well as the Minnesota Association for Justice Board of Governors and Executive Committee. She has been named a “Minnesota Rising Star” by Super Lawyers for 5 years and was named an “Up & Coming Attorney” by Minnesota Lawyer in 2014.

Kate earned her B.A. from Northwestern University and her J.D. cum laude from University of Minnesota Law School. Before law school, Kate spent seven working on Presidential, Senate, and Congressional political campaigns.
