Ms. Quinlivan represents plaintiffs in complex product liability cases involving prescription medications, medical devices and consumer products. Currently, Ms. Quinlivan represents hundreds of people harmed by HIV drugs manufactured by California biotech giant Gilead Sciences. She serves on a leadership committee for Gilead Tenofovir Cases and Coordinated Actions, California Judicial Council Coordination Proceeding No. 5043. Previously, Ms. Quinlivan served as a member of discovery and law and briefing teams in the In Re Testosterone Replacement Therapy Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2595) before Hon. Matthew Kennelly (USDC-NDIL). She and her colleagues tried two cases to verdict, and our mass tort team is presently working to guide a number of clients through the settlement process for their TRT claims. Ms. Quinlivan served as a member of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the In re: Power Morcellator Multidistrict Litigation (MDL 2652) overseen by the by the Honorable Kathryn H. Vratil (Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas). She also worked closely with Co-Lead Counsel and Discovery Committee Co-Chairs in the In re Yasmin and Yaz Marketing, Sales Practices, and Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2100) and for In re Pradaxa Products Liability Litigation (MDL 2385), pending in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, before the Honorable David R. Herndon.
Ms. Quinlivan represents or has represented those injured by TDF (tenofovir disoproxil fumarate) HIV medication, RoundUp, Testosterone Replacement Therapy, power morcellators including the Gynecare Morcellex device, Pradaxa, Xarelto, Actos, Gadolinium Based Contrast Agents, YAZ/Yasmin/Ocella birth control pills, DePuy ASR and Pinnacle hip implants, Wright Medical metal-on-metal hips, Biomet hip implants, and other drugs and medical devices. Additionally, Ms. Quinlivan has coordinating Burg Simpson’s settlement administration process, assisting thousands of individual clients as their cases are resolved through settlement.
Ms. Quinlivan was born in Denver, Colorado. She earned her law degree from the University of California – Hastings College of the Law. Ms. Quinlivan is admitted to practice law in Colorado and in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in 2018-2020, and as a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyer for Colorado each year since 2013.
