Michael Watson found his passion over twenty years ago when he represented a mother of five whose seat back failed in her vehicle, causing a severe traumatic brain injury and forever changing her life and the lives of her husband and five children. Mr. Watson knew then that he had a responsibility to use his education and law degree to help those who had been injured through the negligence of others.
Since then, he has handled many product liability, pharmaceutical, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases, in addition to being appointed to MDL committees and class counsel throughout the United States. Mr. Watson represented over 100 individuals who suffered strokes and other cardiovascular injuries from their use of phenylpropanolamine (PPA), including serving as counsel on creditors' committee in In re: Delaco Bankruptcy. He served as outside counsel to the State of Connecticut in a property damage lawsuit against one of the largest vinyl asbestos floor tile manufacturing companies in the United States. He managed over 2,000 cases filed against Merck on behalf of individuals injured from their use of Vioxx®.
Mr. Watson continues to focus on personal injury, including those harmed through the negligence of health care providers and nursing homes.
