Olga Patterson was born and raised in Miami, Florida where she began her paralegal career. She has been a paralegal since 1989 and earned her ACP in Discovery, Estate Planning, E-Discovery, and Trial Practice, and attained the FCP and FRP designations. In 2005, she moved to Stuart, FL continuing her education and advancement in the paralegal profession.
She is a NALA Advanced Certified Paralegal with more than 30 years of legal experience in the fields of Mass Torts, Medical Malpractice, and Personal Injury Litigation. She is a member of the Mass Torts Department at Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, West Palm Beach, Florida for almost 15 years. Olga is active on several committees for the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Paralegal Association of Florida (PAF), including Bar Liaison and Speaker Coordinator. She is currently President for the Palm Beach Chapter and currently serves on the board of the Florida Bar Registered Paralegal Committee, Certifying Chair of the FCP Examining for the Paralegal Association of Florida, and Chair of the FJA Paralegal/Legal Assistants Section. Olga is also a member of the paralegal section of the Florida Association of Women's Lawyers (FAWL), the American Bar Association (ABA). She is also a Paralegal Board Member and Treasurer with the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association.
Olga devotes her free time in helping fellow paralegals grow and become part of the legal community. She is a frequent speaker at the paralegal sections of the local colleges and has a passion to help others and is dedicated to her paralegal work.
