While in law school, Attorney Merrigan received the Cali Excellence for the Future Award for his excellent achievement in the study of Negotiation and Selected Topics in Constitutional Law. Before graduating from New England School of Law, Attorney Merrigan successfully represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Rule 3:03 Prosecutor for Suffolk County at the West Roxbury District Court where he served as an Assistant District Attorney at arraignments, pre-trial conferences, motions, bench-trials, and jury trials.
He is currently a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the National Lawyers Guild.
