Tony Nemo joined Meshbesher & Spence as a law clerk in 1990, and now serves on its Board of Directors. His practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability, with a special emphasis on helping people who have been injured by defective drugs and medical devices.
During his many years of practice, Tony has tried cases in the state, federal and tribal courts of Minnesota, and has recovered more than $200 million in settlements and verdicts for his clients. He chairs the firm’s mass tort practice group, and has represented thousands of people injured by medical devices, such as IUDs, cardio defibrillators, cochlear implants, surgical mesh and hip and knee implants, and prescription medications, including Fen-Phen, Redux, Baycol, Permax, Vioxx, Paxil, Zofran and Risperdal. Tony has also represented plaintiffs in court-appointed leadership positions, including class counsel in the national Pediatric Paxil Class Action and liaison counsel in In re: Stryker Rejuvenate and ABG II Hip Implant Product Liability Litigation.
Tony and his wife Mary spend their free time in a small cabin in the Superior National Forest, where they enjoy fishing, cooking, and drinking homemade craft beer.
