WEBINAR DESCRIPTION

In late July, we launched an exciting new initiative called the International Legal Institute.  This organization will bring together a sophisticated panel of speakers for a series of thought-provoking programs that center on access to justice through collective redress.

Join us for our second International legal Institute webinar—an informative session on the national solutions proposed and implemented in European Union member states to improve access to justice.

In this webinar, we are going to bring you experts from their respective jurisdictions who often played a role in drafting the collective redress statutes in their countries.

We will be hearing from one of the architects of the Dutch WAMCA, an author of the Belgian opt-out legislation under consideration, an English solicitor who secured the landmark Lloyds v. Google decision impacting representative actions in the United Kingdom, a Portuguese litigator and academic in European collective redress, and a German lawyer on the cutting edge of collective redress.
