ALEXANDRA WALSH Shareholder, Anapol Weiss Alexandra Walsh is a nationally recognized trial attorney with extensive experience trying and winning cases in courts throughout the country. Her successes have been recognized by the American College of Trial Lawyers, Chambers & Partners, and the New York Journal Verdict Hall of Fame, among other organizations. Alex began her career defending corporate clients but began a new chapter in her practice by launching Walsh Law, a firm dedicated to fighting for plaintiffs, in 2021. In 2024, Alex brought the team she built at Walsh Law to Anapol Weiss, where she has expanded the firm’s trial and mass tort practices on a national level.
Today, Alex dedicates much of her practice to representing survivors of sexual exploitation and assault. Alex and her team are at the forefront of the effort to hold Roblox, Discord, and other major platforms accountable for knowingly enabling the grooming, exploitation, and abuse of minors by online predators. They have filed nine federal lawsuits (and counting) against Roblox, including the first wrongful death suit, and are currently petitioning the JPML to consolidate Roblox cases nationwide.
Alex represents hundreds of women and men who survived childhood sexual assault while in custody of various states’ juvenile justice systems. She has joined the fight against the Alexander Brothers, real estate moguls who used their wealth and prominence to engage in a sprawling sex trafficking scheme. Alex has also led litigation exposing Uber’s failure to prevent thousands of sexual assaults annually.
Alex plays a leadership role in various other national litigations, including the MDLs concerning toxic contamination of commercial baby food products; the hidden risks of Ozempic, Wegovy, and other weight loss medications; and the intentionally addictive effect of social media platforms.
Before beginning her law practice, Alex was honored to serve as law clerk to two of the country’s top jurists: the Honorable Merrick B. Garland, then a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and the Honorable Stephen G. Breyer, Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Alex earned her law degree at Stanford Law School, where she was awarded Order of the Coif, and graduated summa cum laude from Bowdoin College.
Alex serves on the board of D.C.’s Legal Aid Society, the city’s oldest and largest civil legal services organization, and represents Legal Aid clients in landlord-tenant disputes. Alex is also a board member for LIFT-DC, a national non-profit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty for families with children through targeted career, education, and financial coaching.
