An Truong is an attorney at Simmons Hanly Conroy where she focuses her practice on class action lawsuits in the Complex Litigation Department. Located in the firm's New York City office, An works with a team of attorneys to give clients a voice against corporations who prioritize profits over individuals' health and safety.
An focuses her practice on all stages of a class action lawsuit from initial interviews with clients to taking depositions and negotiating settlements. She recognizes that each client is unique and deserves individualized attention, an aspect of her position that she enjoys.
“œI feel very fortunate to have the chance to work on cases that have real value to society and improve the lives of others,” An said. “œThere are several crucial steps in a class action lawsuit, and at times those can be difficult to navigate. Ensuring that my clients understand each of those steps and are informed as possible along the way is very important to me.”
With more than eight years of experience practicing law, An has previously worked as a senior appellate court attorney with the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, where she researched and analyzed complex legal and procedural issues for appellate justices and completed confidential reports. Before this position, she was a senior attorney with the New York City Administration for Children's Services (ACS). Her duties included representing ACS in child abuse and neglect cases. She also took part in training and managing junior attorneys.

In 2005, An graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in history with a minor in political science from Ohio State University. She graduated cum laude from the New York Law School with her J.D degree in 2009. While in school here, she also served as review editor for the Global Human Rights Bulletin. She became a member of the New York State bar in 2010 and is currently a member of the New York City Bar Association, New York Women's Bar Association and Asian American Bar Association of New York.
