Anne E. “Bess” DeVaughn is an Associate at Douglas & London in New York City where she works in the firm’s products liability department.
Ms. DeVaughn was born and raised in New Orleans. She received her J.D., magna cum laude in 2015 from Loyola College of Law in New Orleans. In law school, Ms. DeVaughn represented non-citizen children in immigration clinic. She served on the Law Review Editorial Board, receiving the highly-regarded “Best Case Note” award. Additionally, Ms. DeVaughn was selected to participate in the Jessup International Law Moot Court team where her team won the regional competition for the first time in the school’s history.
Prior to joining Douglas & London, Ms. DeVaughn practiced in New Orleans where she was involved in several MDLs including Xarelto and Taxotere. Currently, Ms. DeVaughn is actively practicing with partner and co-lead counsel Stephanie O’Connor on the Proton pump inhibitor litigation, MDL 2789.
