Caitlyn Prichard Miller joined the firm as an associate in 2017. Caitlyn graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Food and Resource Economics. She then attended law school at the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Scholar and Member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Caitlyn was also a national semi-finalist for the American Bar Association’s Moot Court competition, Communications Editor for the Alabama Law Review, and President of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. She also completed an Externship for The Honorable R. David Proctor on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
Prior to joining AWKO, Caitlyn worked as a law clerk for Chief Judge M. Casey Rodgers on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
Caitlyn is licensed to practice law in Florida and Alabama. Additionally, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
She currently focuses her practice on the following matters: Bank of America’s wrongful denial of mortgage modification and Essure litigation involving defendants Bayer and Conceptus, Inc.
Locally, Caitlyn serves on the Board of Directors for the Escambia Santa Rosa County Bar Association, Young Lawyers division, serves as the Secretary for the Northwest Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida. Caitlyn was also selected as a 2018 InWeekly Rising Star.
