Candess Zona-Mendola is a Senior Trial Paralegal with The Lange Law Firm. With 2 decades of experience, she focuses her paralegal practice on mass torts, products liability, and personal injury cases. From intake to verdict, she holds past positions as a docket leader and paralegal manager for several mass torts, including: In re: Accutane (Isotretinoin) Products Liability Litigation, In re: Testosterone Replacement Therapy Products Liability Litigation, Lipitor (Atorvastatin Calcium) Products Liability Litigation, Fluoroquinolone Products Liability Litigation, Essure Products Liability Litigation, and several others.

Candess provided legal support in mass tort bellwether trials for the In re: Testosterone Replacement Therapy Products Liability Litigation (MDL-2545) in Konrad et al v. AbbVie, Inc. et al. and Mitchell et al v. AbbVie, Inc. et al. cases, as well as several other tort trials.

Candess also contributes and acts as Editor of several legal blogs. She is the author of The Indispensable Paralegal ““ Your Guide to Getting It All Done, a paralegal guidebook published by the esteemed Trial Guides. Candess has been featured on several paralegal media sites and podcasts, including The Paralegal Voice through the Legal Talk Network and is a regular Faculty speaker for MTMP's Paralegal College. With her food safety background, she has been featured in other media outlets, including: Food Safety Magazine, Forbes, Reader's Digest, Bustle, OutbreakNewsToday, New Food Economy, and others.

Educated at Chapman University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas, she holds degrees in Anthropology and Paralegal studies.
