Evan Buxner graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1990 and completed his law degree at Saint Louis University in 1993. Mr. Buxner graduated from Saint Louis University Cum Laude, and was a staff member on the Saint Louis University Public Law Review.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Buxner was employed by one of St. Louis' most prestigious trial law firms and within months obtained his first winning jury verdict. Later, he joined a larger law firm in St. Louis Missouri where he worked on complex commercial litigation and defended complex mass torts for one of the nation's largest chemical distributors.

In 2000, Mr. Buxner left the defense bar to work for one of the country's preeminent Plaintiff's firms focusing solely on representing individuals and small companies in personal injury and class action cases. In doing so, he represented hundreds of plaintiffs in the Fen-Phen litigation arising out of Pondimin and Redux's withdrawal from the market after being linked to serious heart disease. Additionally, Mr. Buxner represented plaintiffs who ingested the potentially fatal drug Rezulin, a drug that was prescribed to treat adult-onset Type II diabetes, but was withdrawn from the market in 2000 after being associated with numerous cases of liver damage. Mr. Buxner also worked on numerous consumer class actions dealing with defectively designed cellular telephones, predatory lending, allegations of fraud arising out of credit card transactions and adverse drug reactions.

In 2003 Mr. Buxner opened his own firm. Continuing a tradition of representing individuals injured by dangerous products, he has represented thousands of people hurt by the dangerous drugs Baycol, Vioxx, Bextra, Accutane, Yaz, Reglan, Chantix, Xarelto, Actos, Granuflo and Avandia. He has also successfully represented individuals hurt by dangerous products used in hospitals and construction, like Asbestos.

Mr. Buxner has also successfully represented individuals in class actions against the country's largest companies like US Bank, Wells Fargo, numerous retailers and H&R Block. He has been appointed lead counsel in Federal and State Courts. He was lead counsel in the landmark case of Dundon v. US Bank, wherein he obtained a settlement grossing over ten million dollars to Illinois residents who received approximately Thirty Thousand Dollars per person and was on the Executive Committee in the Wachovia Pick-A-Payment litigation that settled for an estimated 600 million plus dollars.

Mr. Buxner is admitted to practice in state courts in Illinois and Missouri, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the Southern District of Illinois, the Central District of Illinois, the Northern District of Illinois, and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, The Million Dollar Advocates Forum, The Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been selected to Super Lawyers, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers and is peer rated AV by Martindale-Hubble.
