Speaker Bio

Bob Marcino is general counsel and lead for Providio's mass-tort lien resolution projects. While Bob has an active role in day-to-day operations across all matters, he is primarily responsible for client contact and development, group modeling resolution with Medicare, and the structuring of private lien resolution programs where applicable.

Lien resolution and subrogation have been Bob's career focus for over 20 years — beginning in 1993, when he co-founded a subrogation firm to represent small to mid-market third-party administrators on behalf of self-funded ERISA plans. With a solid foundation of resolving private liens, Bob later gained experience resolving Federal and State government liens in both single-event and mass-tort cases. He has been directly involved in a variety of matters; including HRT, Avandia, non-malignant silica and asbestos, Pradaxa and transvaginal mesh. Prior to 1993, Bob was an employee-relations consultant on matters involving employment law and medical benefits.

Bob graduated cum laude from LaSalle University with a B.S. in Finance and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law in 1991. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and U.S. Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a regular speaker at conferences and lien resolution CLEs and has been published in various trade magazines.
