WEBINAR CONTENT DESCRIPTION:
This session will examine 1,4-dioxane, a critical emerging contaminant classified as a likely human carcinogen and known for its high mobility in groundwater and resistance to conventional water treatment methods. Historically used as a solvent stabilizer, it creates widespread, persistent, and hard-to-remediate contamination plumes and is often found in groundwater near industrial sites. Detected in over 20% of U.S. water supplies tested, 1,4-dioxane could be the next PFAS in environmental litigation.
