Zantac has been demonstrated to break down into NDMA inside of the body after ingestion, and as a result, causes long-term users to have a substantial increase in the risk of multiple types of cancer. We will discuss the science that discusses how deadly the carcinogen NDMA is, the amount of NDMA breaking down inside of the body, the literature that shows Zantac causing an increased risk of cancer, the criteria for which cases should be accepted and which cases should be filed, and other issues related to the Zantac litigation (such as a status update of the MDL litigation, other state court options, and potential Pre-emption issues).
