Program Description
The MTMP Fellows Program is an exclusive educational and networking experience designed for law students interested in pursuing a career as trial lawyers.
This program combines attendance at the Mass Torts Made Perfect Conference with a dedicated, hands-on trial advocacy bootcamp, giving Fellows a unique opportunity to learn directly from some of the most accomplished trial attorneys in the country.
The program is designed to prepare the next generation of trial lawyers by providing practical skills, real-world insight, and meaningful mentorship. It also introduces students to plaintiff-side advocacy—an area of law many students are not exposed to, but one that offers the opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives.
Trial Skills Training
The program is an interactive experience focused on developing practical courtroom skills and building confidence in trial advocacy. Fellows will engage in:
- Foundational trial strategy concepts
- Effective communication and persuasion techniques
- Real-world insights from experienced trial lawyers
- Interactive discussions and skill-building exercises

The MTMP Student Fellows program was the first time that I was able to give an opening statement — ever (and my first real introduction to trial advocacy in general) and it got me completely hooked.
