Brett Oppenheimer graduated from the University of Florida in 1987 and the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 1991. He maintains a single event and mass torts practice from his office in Louisville, Kentucky.
In addition to representing individuals, Brett has represented a national health insurer in medical device litigation. He is also certified as a Mediator.
Brett is just completing a leadership role as National Settlement Counsel in the Medtronic Infuse® litigation and is currently sitting on AAJ’s “MDL Rules Committee” advising the Federal Court and Federal Rules Committee.
He has lectured extensively across the country on topics ranging from marketing and firm branding to the Opioids litigation. He is here today to talk about babies born addicted to or in withdrawal from opioids and their individual claims.
