Leigh is a principal in Beasley Allen’s Mass Torts Group. She is a trial lawyer who represents victims injured as a result of defective drugs, medical devices or consumer products. Leigh is Co-Lead Counsel in In re: Johnson & Johnson Talcum Powder Products, MDL No. 2738. She serves on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committees of the various Transvaginal Mesh MDLs where has been actively involved in developing expert witnesses and preparing cases for trial. Along with Andy Birchfield, Leigh tried five bellwether cases in the Vioxx litigation. In Vioxx, Leigh also served on the law and briefing and settlement administration committees. Leigh is a member of the firm’s Executive Board. She is a graduate of Auburn University (B.S., Accounting) and the University of Alabama School of Law where she served as Managing Editor of the Alabama Law Review. Leigh served as a law clerk to the Hon. Ira DeMent, U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Alabama.
