Brian S. Franciskato is a partner in The Nash & Franciskato Law Firm in Kansas City, Missouri. He represents plaintiffs in serious personal injury and wrongful death claims and handles mass tort cases involving defective medical devices and pharmaceuticals on a nationwide level.
A firm believer in professional education and outreach, Brian routinely speaks at conferences on topics related to products liability, evidence, and defective medical devices. His writings are published in several legal publications, including handbooks that are widely used by attorneys nationwide. Brian is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including American Association of Justice (serving on the Board of Governors), Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (serving on the Board of Governors), National Trial Lawyer, Kansas Trial Lawyer Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (past chair of the Torts Law Committee).
Brian is also an active philanthropist, serving on the Board of Directors for the Lee's Summit Soccer Association for over 20 years; actively participating and donating to Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance (LEAP- an association dedicated to the educational success of underprivileged children in Kansas City, Missouri); and working with both the National Trial Lawyers Care and the Missouri Trial Lawyers Care organizations.
