Speaker Bio

Kelly L. Osborne is the Managing Paralegal and Mass Torts Coordinator at Childers Schlueter & Smith. Her focus for the last ten years has been products liability, specifically in the areas of MoM (Metal on Metal) hip cases including DePuy ASR recall, DePuy Pinnacle, Wright Medical, Biomet and Stryker recall. As the Managing Paralegal, she is also responsible for training and managing the paralegals in the firm as well as other duties. As Mass Tort Coordinator, she makes certain that all projects have the proper resources to ensure all judicial orders and obligations can be met, and 100% client satisfaction is maintained. Kelly has been a paralegal working for Plaintiffs for eighteen years.

Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies with an emphasis on pre-law from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. She graduated with high honors. Kelly was a Florida Registered Paralegal and was a Guardian ad litem, advocating for children in the state of Florida before relocating to Georgia. Moreover, Kelly has been active with GTLA (Georgia Trial Lawyers Association) including speaking at paralegal events and even developing a curriculum to bring Paralegal certification to Georgia. Kelly is also a Notary Public, Gwinnett County and a member of NALA (National Association of Legal Assistants).

Kelly was an avid runner who completed many races including the Chicago Marathon. However, due to an injury, she now spends time on her bike as well as doing yoga and strength training. Kelly's adult daughters, Devin and Kori, bring her joy and happiness and are a constant source of enlightenment, while, her furry children, Oliver and Gandalph are a constant source of entertainment and laughter.
